Prof. Dr. Wolfgang U. Dressler, the research group leader, is professor emeritus of the Department of Linguistics of the University of Vienna, former head of the Department of Linguistics of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and deputy head of the Institute for Corpus Linguistics and Text Technology of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. His main current research interests are theory of inflection and word formation (incl. morphopragmatics, morphonology and morphonotactics), language acquisition, and corpus linguistics. He is the leader of the following projects: Crosslinguistic Project on Pre- and Protomorphology, INPUT, CLAD (Austrian part), NetWords (Austrian part).

Mag. Dr. Christine Czinglar studierte Sprachwissenschaft an der Universität Wien, und ist seit 1999 Lektorin am Institut für Sprachwissenschaft. Sie arbeitete u.a. in einem FWF-Projekt zum Erstspracherwerb an der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und war von 2004-2009 OeAD-Lektorin am Institut für Germanistik der Péter-Pázmány-Universität in Piliscsaba/Budapest. Ihre Dissertation zum Einfluss des Alters auf den Erwerb der Verbstellung im Deutschen als Zweitsprache hat sie 2012 abgeschlossen. Für die Doktorarbeit hat sie 2010 ein Forschungsstipendium der Universität Wien und 2011 den Theodor Körner Preis erhalten. Ihre Forschungsgebiete sind Zweitspracherwerb, Deutsch als Zweit-/Fremdsprache, Erstspracherwerb, Syntaxerwerb, österreichisches Deutsch. Sie ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Forschungsprojekt INPUT.

Mag. Dr. Katharina Korecky-Kröll studied Linguistics and French and participated in various research projects at the Austrian Academy of Sciences from 1999 to 2012 before starting her current position as a university assistant (post-doc) at the Department of Linguistics of the University of Vienna in April 2012. Her main research interests are first and second language acquisition of Austrian German in comparison to other languages, acquisition of morphology and morphosyntax focusing on nouns and adjectives, and morphological and morphonotactic processing. She is working on the following projects: Crosslinguistic Project on Pre- and Protomorphology, INPUT, CLAD, NetWordS.
